Your Appointment
Some patients receiving Botox report the injections feel like a pinch. You may begin to notice a visible smoothing of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 14 days lasting up to 4 months for moderate to severe frown lines.
Botox is not a permanent treatment. If you discontinue treatment, the moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines will gradually return.

How Does Botox Work?
Botox targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines — the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling and raising the eyebrows over the years. A GLOW Nurse Injector will inject these muscles with Botox to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice your frown lines between your brows, your crow’s feet lines and your forehead lines temporarily look better.

How Many Units Do I Need?
Treatment is customized to your goals and needs. When you meet with your Nurse Injector, they will determine the appropriate treatment for any areas you wish to address, including moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines. The average number of units used for each area are listed below. Please remember this will differ from person to person and scheduling a free consult is the best way to know the exact number of units you’ll need.
Chin: 2-6 units
Corners of mouth: 3-6 units
Crow’s feet: 5-15 units
Eyebrow lift: 2-5 units
Forehead lines: 10-30 units
Frown lines: 10-25 units
Between the eyes: 10-25 units
Jaw/Masseter: 15-50 units per side
Lines around the nose: 5-10 units
Neck bands: 25-50 units
How Much Does Botox Cost?
Botox at GLOW is $13/unit and $11.50/unit for new clients! The amount of units needed varies from person to person. To effectively treat three areas on your face, most of our patients need between 40-60 units of Botox.
